1.    Only Just print what is necessary.
Prior to printing any specific selection of a document, estimate it is worth and need so you waste no time printing stuff which may possibly be of no useful.  More to the point, just laser print what is completely necessary to save the quantity of inkjet printer ink cartridges and paper being utilized.  The less ink that is utilized for each print job, the better the laser printer cartridges keep going.
Besides, stuff that may be backed up on external drives, instead of printing, should be saved.  Use CDs or peripheral hard drives to back up the spreadsheets and files in lieu of printing them. Reports and emails usually shouldn’t be laser printed unless you truly need them. There should never be a reason to print out crude jokes or novelty stuff.  Laser printing these items wastes dollars in ink, printers cartridges and paper.

2. You should print text and not graphics.
Laser printing letters or spreadsheets for evaluation later on can be advantageous, however you should only print the required words and whatever additional items which are required.  Stay away from laser printing photos, images, graphs, or multicolored charts if needing a recycled paper photocopy is not essential.

3. Utilize the “Print Preview” option.
“Print Preview” is an extremely beneficial tool that shows a preview of the way the finished article should look when laser printed.  “Print Preview” can help you manipulate words, numbers, and spaces and decide which pages or selections need to be printed.  Consider disabling the color ink laser printer cartridges, selecting only the pages you will want copies of, and the document that is definitely required – specifically the final page with the footer which you get with each laser print job.  This noticeably will reduce the quantity of ink used, in addition to the quantity of paper utilized.
